Why Did I Create CRIPmark Cards?
Posted on 17 September 2015

As a hobby, I have always enjoyed making my own greeting cards to give to family and friends. As a wheelchair user, I searched high and low for graphics that were disability-specific to use on my card creations. Most of the graphics I found were generic at best and/or often times offensive.
I decided that it was up to me to create a clever and unique line of greeting cards that depicted people with disabilities in glamorous ways. My cards have a DISABILITY THEME - but the MESSAGES ARE UNIVERSAL and meant to appeal to everyone!
Many of my cards are individually embellished with gemstones, flowers, shiny appliqués and other accents to enhance the beauty of the cards. I especially like to display wheelchairs, crutches, braces, and other apparatuses associated with disability in beautiful colors and abstract shapes. My emphasis is on beauty because this is my way of dispelling the so-called “icky” myths associated with the tools we use in our day-to-day lives.
I hope you embrace and enjoy the positive spirit of CRIPmark Cards! Our cards are now being sold on the PushLiving.com online store.
